This will provide local schools, colleges and
other community groups with a woodland
environment for education and recreation. Managed
group activities will be available linking
aspects of woodland management, forest produce,
local wildlife, environmental issues and arts and
crafts, using the woodland as a source of
materials as well as inspiration.

The community educational resource will be accessible to any community group or organisation that is interested in taking part in a specified activity or visiting the site for recreation. These groups will include: nurseries, schools, colleges, day centres, nursing homes, luncheon clubs and environmental clubs etc. Activities will be tailored according to the requirements of the group.
